Why silicone lasts so long

Silicone molecules aren't absorbed by the skin and don't evaporate, so the glide stays put until you wash it away. You'll use far less silicone lube than water-based lube, which makes a bottle last a long time.

Water play and silicone

Because silicone lube repels water, it's the ideal choice for shower and bath sex. Be careful on tiles and in the tub, because it can make surfaces slippery.

Toy compatibility

Silicone lube is safe with glass, stainless steel, ABS plastic and most condoms. Avoid using it with silicone toys, because silicone can bond with silicone and leave the surface tacky or damaged. If you're unsure, patch-test on the base of the toy first.
